About

Pocket Lane started as a group chat between three friends who kept sending each other screenshots of games they were stuck on. At some point we figured we might as well write it all down properly, so here we are. The site is small, independent, and we answer our own emails.,We focus on games you can actually enjoy in short bursts on a train or during a lunch break. That means racers, arcade titles, casual pick-ups, and the occasional deeper RPG or strategy game when it earns the space. Nothing gets a review until someone on the team has played it for at least a few hours.,Choosing what to cover is simple. We watch what's climbing the charts, take reader suggestions seriously, and dig into smaller releases that get overlooked. If a game feels shallow after an hour we say so; if it surprises us, we say that too.,We don't take money to bump scores, and we don't pretend to like things we don't. The whole point is that you can trust the rating at the top of each review, even when it's low.
